There are two ways to install our extensions. For manual installation, log in to your Customer Portal, download the ZIP package, then go to System > Install > Extensions in your Joomla admin panel and upload it. For automatic updates, add your update key and register your domain — Joomla will then notify you of new versions and let you update with one click.
Licensing & Domains
When you purchase an extension, you receive an update key (also called a Download ID) tied to your order. This key grants access to product downloads, automatic updates, and technical support for the duration of your active subscription. The number of domains you can use depends on your license plan.
An update key is a unique 32-character code generated with each order. You enter it in your Joomla site's update configuration so that Joomla can automatically check for and install new versions of your extensions. Each update key has its own domain limit based on your purchased plan.
Yes — you can manually download and install your extension on as many domains as you like. There is no restriction on manual installations. The domain limit on your license only applies to automatic updates and technical support. So even if your plan covers 3 domains for automatic updates, you can still install the extension on 10, 20, or more sites by downloading the ZIP from your Customer Portal and uploading it manually. However, technical support is only available for domains registered under your update key.
The number of domains that receive automatic updates depends on your license plan. Each update key has its own domain limit based on the quantity purchased in your order. You can view your current usage and remaining slots in the Customer Portal under Support Domains.
Registered domains are the website addresses linked to your update keys. When your Joomla site checks for updates, it sends its domain along with your update key. The domain must be registered to receive automatic updates. Domains are automatically registered the first time your site checks for updates, or you can add them manually in the Customer Portal.
Development domains include localhost, .local addresses, and private IP ranges (e.g., 192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x). These are flagged with a "DEV" indicator and do not count toward your domain limit, so you can freely develop and test without using up your licensed slots.
Yes, you can update a registered domain from the Customer Portal. However, each domain registration allows a maximum of 2 name changes, after which it becomes locked. If you need more changes, you can remove the domain and register a new one (if you have available slots).
Your extensions will continue to work normally — they never stop functioning. However, you will no longer receive automatic updates or technical support. You can renew your license at any time to restore access to updates and support.
Downloads & Updates
Log in to your Customer Portal and navigate to your products. You can download any extension you've purchased directly from your browser — no update key or domain registration needed for manual downloads. Simply click the download button and you'll receive the ZIP package.
Once you enter your update key in your Joomla site's update configuration and register your domain, Joomla will automatically check for new versions. When an update is available, you'll see a notification in your Joomla admin panel and can install it with one click. Your domain is automatically registered the first time Joomla checks for updates.
No. Your extension works fully regardless of domain registration. Domain registration is only required for receiving automatic updates through Joomla's built-in updater. Without it, you can still download and install updates manually from your Customer Portal.
Yes, you can always download the latest version from your Customer Portal and install it manually via System > Install > Extensions in Joomla. This is useful if you prefer not to use automatic updates or if you haven't registered your domain yet.
Billing

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally considered final. However, we may grant refunds in certain cases: license upgrades within 30 days, mistaken or duplicate purchases where the product was not downloaded, and unresolved technical issues after reasonable support effort within 30 days.
