Local script hosting has its own requirements: a tracking ID, outbound HTTPS to www.googletagmanager.com, and a writable script folder.
Updates
You can install a new version directly over the old one, and your settings are preserved. See Installation.
If updates are not found or downloads fail through Joomla's update system, see Troubleshooting. The plugin must be enabled for downloads to work.
