Next Inventory suits organisations that want assets, consumables and sellables tracked in one system with a full audit trail, inside their own Joomla administrator.

It is likely a good fit if

• You already use Joomla, or are happy to
• You want to replace spreadsheets with a proper record of every stock movement
• You want an audit log that cannot be edited
• You track stock across one or several warehouses
• You want to enable only the apps you need

It may not be the right fit yet if

• You need a built-in bulk importer. The current release does not include one. For a one-off spreadsheet migration, contact us at [email protected] and we can help design a one-time import.
• You need multi-currency stock. All items and reports use a single currency, and Next Inventory doesn't convert. Unit prices must be normalised to one currency.
• You need unique barcodes enforced. Duplicates are not blocked, so one barcode per item is a rule your team has to follow.
• You want to edit past transactions. Transactions are uneditable by design. A correction is recorded as an opposite transaction.
• You need push notifications without HTTPS. Browsers only allow web push over HTTPS.
• You need AI features today. They are listed as Coming soon.
