Roles & Permissions

A custom role-based permission system that sits alongside (not on top of) Joomla ACL.

• Granular per-feature permissions: inventory, transactions, categories, reports, configuration, warehouses, scanner
• Action-level control: create, edit, edit own, delete, view, manage transfers, manage adjustments
• Roles assigned to individual users or Joomla user groups
• Direct user assignments take precedence over group assignments
• Super administrators bypass all permission checks
• The interface hides every action a user cannot perform

App Manager

Switch whole areas of Next Inventory on and off from one card grid, so a site that only counts stock is not cluttered with features it never uses.

• Disabling hides the app everywhere and refuses its requests — but never touches its data; re-enabling restores it exactly
• Eight of the ten are on by default, so updating changes nothing until you choose otherwise — the Progressive Web App keeps whatever you had already chosen, and Demo Data ships off
